These terms cover your use of ez2tip (“we”, “us”), a service that hosts a personal tip page with a QR code. By creating a page you agree to them.
What we do — and don’t do
We host a web page that links to payment accounts you choose (such as Venmo, Cash App, PayPal or Zelle). Tips are sent directly between the tipper and your payment account. We never receive, hold or process tip money, and we are not responsible for payments, refunds, disputes or fees handled by those services.
Your page
- The payment accounts on your page must be yours, and the page must represent you or your business.
- No impersonation, fake fundraising, scams, or content that is illegal, hateful or sexually explicit.
- We review new pages and may decline, pause or remove a page that breaks these rules. If we decline a new page, we cancel its subscription.
- You are responsible for reporting your tip income for taxes.
Billing
Subscriptions are billed in advance, monthly or yearly, through Stripe, and renew automatically until you cancel. You can cancel anytime from the link in your welcome email; your page stays live until the end of the period you paid for. See our refund policy.
The service
We work to keep pages online, but the service is provided “as is” without warranties, and we are not liable for lost tips or indirect damages. Our total liability is limited to the amount you paid us in the last 12 months. We may update these terms and will post changes on this page.
